Nestled like a jewel at the foot of Mount Meru, Hatari Lodge is the base of The African Embassy Safaris. Shu’mata Camp in the Sinya Steppe, the plain from which Mount Kilimanjaro rises, is only a stone throw away.
Both of these our two luxury accommodations form integral parts of all our destinations and are ideal spots to acclimatize before the start of a safari or relax at its end. They are therefore at the center of our safari destinations – which we call “Hoppers”, “Fly - In” safaris on which we “hop” from place to place.
Where do our guests want to “hop”? We offer a large choice of destinations, which, like the different pieces of a safari puzzle, you yourselves combine into a personalized safari, with our guidance and advice, according to interest, experience, season and time available.
Follow us into the vast deserts of Namibia, on the tracks of primates, on the Serengeti migration routes, to a rhino sanctuary or to the long sandy beaches of the East African coast…
